What's a good nickname for a creepy old house at the end of the street?

It's for a story I'm writing. There's a creepy, old, 'haunted' house at the end of the street, which is a cal de sac, and I need a nickname for the characters to call it.|||Morty|||The cal de sac "lack", the Lack, the back lack, the talk-back lack. In your story you could write how the house earned its nickname. Maybe the haunted house actually answers, or talks-back. Since the house lacks homeowners, lacks appeal, lacks windows, whatever.
