What is a good nickname for someone with intense green eyes?

I'm writing a book and I'm looking for a nickname that a father can have for his son. I want it to be based around his eyes, which are a very vivid green. It's a nickname that stays with him from an early age right through his life so I don't want it to be too childish either.
